A belated 'Hello" to the new licensee at the Bell, Phil Sorby, who had previously been at the 'George and Dragon' at Watton-at-Stone. He comes with many years of experience in the trade in which one of his previous ventures was at a pub/restaurant/hotel in Newmarket which gave him plenty of opportunity to indulge in one of his favourite pastimes - going to the Races.

Phil is originally from Leeds and will be happy to regale anybody within listening distance of the wonders of 'God's Own County/Country' if he wasn't busy serving his customers - numbers of which have markedly increased since he's taken over the license from Heather and Garvan.

I'm sure that all East Beds CAMRA members will join me in wishing Phil the best of luck with his latest venture.
