See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A pub from 1840 and formerly known as the Wheatsheaf, it changed name to the March Hare in the mid 1980's under Whitbread's control. It closed in 2008, until bought and rescued from Admiral Taverns by the current licensees in February 2010. After a refurbishment, it re-opened in August 2010 as a freehouse. Local clubs meet here and both pub games and occasional live music events are very popular with customers from both within the village and further afield. Local venue for Dunton Folk musicians. Winter Dark Beer Special festival in late January.
