See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Built by William Randall in 1750 and during its early life was called the Maidenhead. A friendly unspoilt traditional town pub just off the market square, retaining much of its original structure and character. On cold winter evenings there is a roaring log fire in the bar and when the weather is nore pleasant drinkers can enjoy a large garden at the rear of the Pub. Good bus & rail links. Cribbage and darts are popular. Occasional live music events. Free Wi-Fi.
