See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Formerly a cottage, outhouse and pigsty in 1830, and later opened as a pub in the 1867. It's a small village pub of unusual wedge shape in the Clifton Conservation area. It is now a freehouse with up to 5 real ales, some bottled craft ales and one cider in spring or summer months. Traditional games of cribbage, darts and dominoes remain popular. Regular live music and a monthly quiz. Great British pub food served daily, plus Fish and Chips on Fridays and big weekend breakfasts and a Sunday Roast and Monday steak nights. The pub has a wood burning stove and lots of nautical artefacts.
